Job Description:

Effectively manage an assigned portfolio of >$1MM commercial loan workout transactions. Maintain transaction resolution velocity in conformity with CFG goals. Obtain required levels of fee income and expense reimbursement. Experience with large syndicated credits required. Assure compliance with CFG commercial credit policy and Special Asset Division Procedures. Maintain required financial statements, resolve documentation exceptions, assess collateral valuations, verify bank record keeping accuracy and monitor covenant compliance. Promptly recommend changes to risk-ratings, loan loss recognition and accrual status. Prepare high quality management reporting and credit file documentation. Establish action plans and specific resolution target dates.

Responsible for all aspects of portfolio management including directing workout strategies and approving settlements (within approval levels). Hires, trains and performance annual reviews for all individuals within group. Selects and directs outside counsel. Ensures that all policy and administrative maters are addressed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Ten or more years of specific experience in the workout of multiple large (>1MM) commercial loan transactions.
Experience in applying creditor's rights laws.
Experience in protecting credit exposures in the context of the US Bankruptcy Code.
Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
Ability to adjust and accept change.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
