Job Description:

LOAN INSTALLATION SPECIALIST

We are currently seeking an experienced Loan Installation Specialist with four years of commercial banking/loan documentation skills in our downtown Los Angeles office to support our Commercial Customer Service/Risk Management division. This loan specialist will be responsible for preparing commercial/corporate loan documents, board new, renewed and amended loans.

RESPONSIBLITIES:


  • Monitor Loan Installation Tickler System for; LIBOR repricings, timing intervals of performance priced loans, reoccurring fees, and other events tied to specific loans and/or customers.




  • Work with Lending units to insure accuracy of Past Due Reports, Monthly Fee Summary Reports, Credit Exception Reports, and Closed Loan Reports.




  • Provide information to customers on, and respond to, customer inquiries, problem requests and feedback received via telephones, mail, email and fax.




  • Investigates and researches various requests both online and archival, to resolve problems.




  • Initiates corrective action and/or adjustments on loans and general account maintenance as appropriate.




  • Communicate solutions to customers by phone and/or in writing.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCESSFUL
o Four years of Commercial Banking, loan documentation or other bank operational experience.

o Experience with AFS, CLW, Commercial loan documents, and a familiarity with lending.
o Ability to read and comprehend a credit write-up including Attorney Prepared documents.
o Understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations pertaining to Commercial Lending.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to deal effectively, tactfully and knowledgeably with both internal and external customers.
o Basic math skills.
o Excellent organizational skills
o Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow under strict deadlines.
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills, along with sound judgment.
